BLACKPINK’s Rosé Unveils Cute Song Inspiration, Netizens Suspect 1 Male Idol

Recently, BLACKPINK’s Rosé draws a lot of attention with her solo album “rosie”. During the promotions for this album, Rosé reveals the inspirations behind many of her songs, including a “toxic ex” that was reflected through the title track “toxic till the end”.
Additionally, in an online listening party after the album release, Rosé answered some fans’ questions and mentioned how she got inspired for the B-side track “drinks or coffee”.
Particularly, “drinks or coffee”, with lyrics such as, “Standin’ in the corner of a crowded place / This is borin’, till I heard your name / And now I’m stayin’ for ya, we’re just friends, it’s okay / Kinda weird how my night changes / Is it just me startin’ to see / You in a different light?”, is about meeting someone at a party and being so interested, the person won’t leave your head.

According to Rosé, such a story was derived from real life, as she did meet somebody at a party, realized they were cute, and enjoyed the party afterwards.
This lead to speculations about the identity of the person Rosé met, and some netizens have got their eyes on ASTRO’s Cha Eunwoo.
In particular, the idol-actor appeared at BLACKPINK’s Coachella afterparty, leading to suspicion. Additionally, Rosé and Cha Eunwoo have faced multiple dating rumors in the past.
Of course, it’s important to note that there’s nothing confirmed about the man that inspired Rosé, and Cha Eunwoo was just one person among numerous that have attended the same party as Rosé.
